This prizewinner took Jack Tapler one and a half years to build. It is a model of the 1968 Miss Bardahl racer. The model is made of wood and has over three hundred separate parts. In this picture, the engine cover is removed.

The engine cover reveals more of the incredible attention to detail Jack has incorporated in this model. The internet suffers limitations on graphics. Suffice it to say that to see this boat in person reveals a level of detail to which these pictures do not do justice. |
